Description
Accountant I Central Electric Power Cooperative, Jefferson City, MO, is looking for an Accountant I. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Manager of Accounting and Senior Accountant to assist with accounts payable, annual audit schedules, the annual operating budget and capital budget process and the management of Central's payroll and benefits process, as well as providing a high degree of accounting for the organization. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with two years of experience. Must have effective communication skills and the ability to assist others outside of accounting. Central's benefits include medical, dental and life insurance, retirement plans, 11 holidays a year, as well as vacation and sick leave benefits.
