Description

Our client is a Singapore based boutique venture capital and is seeking an AVP- Fund Accountant to join the team.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

1. Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and maintain financial records
2. Manage cash flows, budgeting, forecasting, and GST/tax filings.
3. Handle fund accounting tasks such as capital calls, capital accounts, and carried interest.
4. Coordinate with external parties (auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries) and ensure compliance with regulations.
5. Support bank account management, payments, and drive process improvements and ad-hoc projects.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA qualification is a plus).
2. At least 3+ years of experience, preferably in Private Equity /Venture Capital funds.
3. Candidates straight out of Big 4 firm with PE exposure shall be considered.
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Good communication skills and a positive, hands-on attitude with willingness to learn.
