Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading sustainable energy company in Bristol for their search for a Management Accountant. This is a high-visibility role where you'll own the month-end process, lead the annual audit, and mentor a growing team.

The Role at a Glance

• Own the Numbers: Lead monthly/quarterly reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) and provide variance analysis for the Board.
• Lead the Audit: Act as the primary contact for external auditors and oversee the production of statutory accounts.
• Process Architect: Identify gaps in internal controls and implement automation to make reporting faster and smarter.
• Business Partnering: Work closely with FP&A and non-finance stakeholders to align budgets with actual performance.

What You'll Bring

• Qualified: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Technical Edge: Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Data Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and an appetite for improving financial systems.
• Leadership Style: Collaborative, and ready to mentor.
