About the Role

As a Senior Consultant (Business Analyst), you will make an impact by driving requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for leading insurance clients in Japan. You will be a valued member of the Consulting team, working collaboratively with client stakeholders, Cognizant colleagues, and IT/business teams.

In this role, you will:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions, organize and document user requirements, and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, translating business needs into project charters and business cases.
• Analyze documentation and conduct research to develop comprehensive solutions for clients.
• Create functional and non-functional specifications, and support design, development, and testing to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Propose new processes/templates and support internal teams in scenario development and testing.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week at the client office in Tokyo. What you must have to be considered

• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English (TOEIC 750+).
• 7+ years of relevant consulting experience, with a strong background in the life insurance domain.
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Ability to propose process improvements and support testing teams.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
