Description
CITY OF DELAVAN ACCOUNTANT POSITION AVAILABLE
The City of Delavan is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Accountant. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a team player, capable of identifying opportunities and addressing challenges within municipal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and analyze financial reports. Facilitate the preparation of annual operating budgets. Coordinate audit preparation and reporting. Provide guidance on long-term financial planning and resource allocation. Deliver financial insights and analysis for decision making. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience with demonstrated success in governmental finance. Salary & Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $87,501.65 to $92,420.99 depending on qualifications. The City offers a comprehensive benefits package including Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) health and life insurance, participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), long-term disability, and other employee benefits.
