Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP (“KSLN”) is a mid-sized New York-based law firm with offices throughout NYS. Our Civil Litigation Practice Group is expanding! We are seeking an ideal candidate who demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will have experience in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and interacting with clients. Strong research skills and a solid understanding of NY labor law are also essential, as the candidate will assist with our general defense practice. Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the firm’s growth are important aspects of this position.
Salary $80,000-$110,000 (Buffalo, NY) and $95,000-$125,000 (Syracuse, NY) to commensurate with experience (depending on experience level and book of business (if any)).

Requirements
Attorney: 1-5+ years
Member of the NY bar in good standing
Experience with New York Civil Practice
Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
Experience with written discovery, motion practice, drafting motions and pleadings, independently conducting depositions, and trial preparation
1+ years of broad-based litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
