The Company

Our client in the manufacturing sector is currently seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team for a 6-months assignment.

The Role

The role will be responsible for managing month-end close and General Ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies and SOX requirements. Key responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reviews, AP/AR oversight, financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, audit coordination, treasury activities, and accounting for fixed assets and inventory. The role will also play a key part in transitioning finance and financial control activities from local teams into the global shared services team.

Your Profile
Candidates should have a Degree in Accounting / Finance / related discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, with strong knowledge of financial close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit processes. Proficiency in SAP/SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
