We're partnering with a highly regarded ASX-listed organisation seeking a Part-Time Accountant to join its growing finance team.

Offering a 0.6 FTE arrangement, this role provides the flexibility to work your hours across 3 or 5 days per week, while remaining involved in meaningful and commercially focused accounting work.
If you work across the 5 days then you will have 3-days WFH, and 1-day WFH if you work 3 days.

This position provides the flexibility many accountants are seeking, while still offering exposure to management reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting and strategic business initiatives. What You'll Do:

This is far more than a traditional month-end accounting position.

You'll play an important role in supporting financial reporting, management reporting, project accounting and business performance analysis across a growing organisation.

Your responsibilities will include month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure reporting, project cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting support, intercompany accounting and audit preparation. You'll also contribute to profitability analysis, business performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

A significant component of the role involves supporting major capital projects, providing exposure to project accounting, capital expenditure tracking and investment reporting that is often difficult to access in traditional accounting roles.

About You:

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can work autonomously and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

You'll ideally bring:

• CA or CPA qualification (or be working towards completion)
• At least 3 years' experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large ERP systems
• Strong Excel capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with fixed assets, capital accounting, project accounting or listed environments will be highly regarded, although not essential.
