Permanent Dealership Accountant Position | South Brisbane Location | $110,000 - $125,000 + Super Your new company

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

• Take ownership of month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and key financial controls to support operational and commercial performance.
• Partner with leadership to deliver meaningful financial insights, reporting and analysis that drive informed decision-making.
• Lead process improvements, strengthen controls and support the ongoing development of finance and administration teams.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in a Dealership Accountant, Management Accountant or similar role, with strong knowledge of financial accounting, cash flow management and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and financial controls.
• Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to operational leaders.
• Proactive and process-driven mindset, with experience improving systems, strengthening controls and supporting high-performing teams.
