Ball Janik LLP is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery team in Tampa, Florida. The position will focus on third-party liability insurance coverage matters, including commercial general liability policies, insurer defense and indemnity obligations, coverage disputes, and related litigation.

The ideal candidate will have strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to independently analyze complex coverage issues, develop case strategy, and manage matters through litigation. Prior experience leading matters, supervising attorneys or staff, managing client relationships, or otherwise serving in a leadership role is preferred.

Qualified applicants should possess excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills, together with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Experience with insurance coverage, construction litigation, commercial litigation, or other complex civil litigation is preferred.
