We are seeking an experienced Controller/Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and support executive leadership. This role is ideal for a detailoriented professional who thrives in a small business environment and can operate independently with high accountability.

About the Role

The Controller/Senior Accountant will report to the Chief Financial Officer and partner closely with senior leadership to manage the company’s financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. This position blends strategic oversight with hands-on accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
• Execute and manage the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. 
• Execute, manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. 
• Monitor cash flow and assist in managing banking relationships. 
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets. 
• Coordinate external audits and tax preparation. 
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
• Provide data-driven insights, reporting, and recommendations to leadership. 
• Support benefit analysis and execution.
• Complete special accounting projects and administrative tasks as needed. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency with accounting software (such as Intacct) and Microsoft Office. 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. 
• Multientity experience preferred. 
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problemsolving abilities. 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail.
