Reopening Our Colby Office
WCC has served Colby before, and we are looking to return. For the right candidate, this position includes the opportunity to help reopen and run that office. We would rather find the right person and build around them than open a door and hope someone walks through it.
What You'll Do
- Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns
- Review returns prepared by other staff — or grow into that responsibility
- Advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters
- Support clients with general accounting and financial reporting
- Build lasting client relationships and help develop less-experienced staff
What We Offer
- Salary of $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience, with room for the right candidate

- Fridays off, beginning the first Friday after April 15 and continuing through September

Requirements
What You Bring
- 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting and accounting systems
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills to meet internal and external deadlines
Preferred
- Current CPA license
- Experience reviewing returns prepared by others
- QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Thomson Reuters UltraTax
