What You'll Do
Perform a variety of accounting tasks, with an emphasis on tax compliance.
Prepare closing workpapers, overhead expense budgets, and tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Assist with corporate (S-Corp) and small entity PTE tax reporting. Experience with OneSource Income Tax/GoSystems software a plus.
Handle all gross receipts, sales and use and other miscellaneous tax filings for the Family of Companies.
Support accounting staff, processes, and initiatives, especially as it relates to corporate credit cards and tax compliance.
Assist with identifying risk/controls for accounting processes and perform testing according to internal audit programs.
Support various accounting touch points as they relate to insurance, legal and job cost.
Prepare special reports and complete other projects as directed.
Perform additional assignments per direction of Tax Director/Controllers.
What You Bring
Educational and experience requirements include: 4-year Business/Accounting degree plus one (1) year of public accounting experience, with CPA preferred. Thorough knowledge of all relevant Federal, State and local requirements regarding financial records, pension, profit sharing, and the like is essential. Proficient communication, interpersonal, organizational and Microsoft Office skills vital.
